Using advanced CFD analysis, the frame features a deeper head tube, more aerodynamic fork legs, and a redesigned bottom bracket area that shields the rear wheel, saving 8.6 Watts over its predecessor. Despite an increase in surface area, clever carbon optimization makes the new frame significantly lighter. To maximize integration and save extra grams, it utilizes an advanced, one-piece Cervélo HB18 carbon handlebar/stem system.
The bike rolls on a differentiated Reserve 40/44 carbon wheelset—pairing a shallower 40mm front wheel for crosswind stability with a deeper 44mm rear wheel for maximum aerodynamic transfer.
