Focus have just released their 2026 eMTB range to the market in Australia and there is plenty to be excited about here. Focus are continuing to emphasise three distinct niches in their line-up:

Focus Thron² – Reach new heights

Made for after-work rides on your home trail or long weekend tours. The Thron² is focused on the pure experience of the ride. When experiencing Nature is the key, with this touring eMTB, you are perfectly equipped for any adventure.

Thron² is ideal for riders who want:

• • Long days on rail trails / forest trails / mixed terrain, where comfort and battery range matter.
  • Riders who mix commuting / utility (having rack, fenders) with trail/off-road.
  • Not wanting to go into full enduro/descend focused bikes, but want enough capability for light to moderate technical terrain.
  • Someone wanting lots of versatility: the ability to add gear, ride in different weather, potentially do light touring.

Focus Jam² – Up your game on any trail

Jam² is your all-mountain full suspension eMTB.

Downwards it is intuitive to ride and doesn’t require as much effort or skill to negotiate open corners, or simply a new trail you don’t know.

Upwards the JAM² ensures an even weight distribution on both wheels and plenty of front wheel traction on flatter terrain. With this, you will master all uphill trails.

Jam² is ideal for riders who want:

• • Riders who want a do-all eMTB bike: climbs, descents, technical singletrack, bike parks.
  • Trail riders who like more aggressive capability than Thron², but still need to pedal up efficiently.
  • Those who want a geometry to improve agility and make handling better on tight trails or steep climbs.

Jam² specific characteristics

• Suspension: Fork 160mm Shock 150mm
• Wheel Size: 29″ FR/RR
• Geometry: Lower centre of gravity; playful
• Additional Notes: Improved clearance; less scrapes

Focus Sam² – Designed for Down

Sam² is your perfect bike for all gravity fans who demand the most from their eMTB.

Fully tuned for Downhill performance, Sam² off maximum control at top speeds. Geometry, suspension, components; all designed to deliver.

‘Mullet set-up’ with 29″ front wheel provides great roll-over characteristics, coupled with a 27.5″ rear that gives you all the agility & handling required.

Sam² is ideal for riders who want:

• • Riders who are focussed on **downhill, big terrain, gravity rides**: bike parks, steep trails, big drops, jumps.
  • Those who demand maximum stability at speed, comfort over rough ground, and don’t mind extra weight for more capability.
  • Enduro racers or aggressive weekend shredders who need full travel, big tyres, strong braking, robust components.
